Happy Saturday Stampers!
Well as I write this I am relaxing at the beautiful Westin Hotel in Hilton Head, SC. It's part of a four day getaway trip that I earned with Stampin' UP! A huge thank you to all of my customers and downline for helping to make this trip possible! I never thought stampin' would take me to places like this for sure!
It's been so nice and relaxing, and Russ and I have been able to spend the most time together and alone since....well my oldest is almost 13 so there you go!
I'll have pictures of the trip for you NEXT week, for I still need to show you some of the wonderful things we saw and make at Regionals last week!
Our first make and take was to create a set of four notecards and envelopes using the set "Clockworks." I don't own this set but I tell ya, after making these cards it is on my wish list for sure. It's a great set for layering and fantastic for scrapbooking. We decorated both the cards and envelopes, and the sentiment comes from the set....One in a Million (don't have my catty with me folks, I think that's the name of it!).
The only embellishment was a rhinestone in the center of the clock. And that was perfect! Colors used were PoolParty, More Mustard, Gumball Green, Calypso Coral, and Basic Gray.
Yes my sentiment here was a little crooked. I was impatient and didn't wait for my turn to use the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig. I am useless without that thing.
This was the BEST part of the project-- we made an envelope out of vellum using the diagonal Simply Scored. WOW. So easy to make and what a cute little thank you or hostess gift it is! My vellum is already ordered and every hostess will be getting something similar this fall for sure!
Have a great day everyone....more posts to follow next week with more great card ideas, and maybe a couple photos from paradise as well!
Trish
