Wedding Wishes

Today's card IS a Trish original!  But it's simple.  I needed several wedding cards this week so I wanted to come up with something I could duplicate.

Today's card uses one of my favorite new stamp sets, Big News.  I love the fonts on this set.

Excuse the lighting on this one today.  I've got to create a new light box for photography and didn't make the time yet.  For this card I used Very Vanilla card stock as well as the washi tape in gold.  I used gold ink and also punched out hearts from the gold foil paper.  Also stamped the lines from Gorgeous Grunge (another favorite go to set).  The result is a simple and modern card.

Praying for you

Another card I made in Florida from the same stamp set.  This is another stamp set that I don't own (why???) but I've sold a bunch and have been dying to work with it!

I used the same layout as yesterday but just flipped it and kept it just as simple.  After I stamped the bird image I sponged over it lightly in Pool Party to hopefully give the impression of water!

Sharing in your sorrow

When I was in Florida over the 4th I got into my mother's stamp stash!  Here is one card we made!

I found the idea for this card on Pinterest- nope I don't do all original designs either :)  I needed several sympathy cards unfortunately and this one fit the bill for me.

TO make the shaded block, you punch out a second of card stock with the 1 1/4 " punch about three times (actually I think it was 3.5).  Then lay it over your good card stock and sponge the area.  I used Calypso Coral and Daffodil Delight and just faded from one color to the other.

The sentiment and image are stamped in Memento tuxedo black.  I like it because it doesn't seem to bleed at all whether I use it for Blendabilities or anything else!

Then I layered the stamped image over another piece of whisper white card stock.  I feel it's simple and powerful.  I hope the recipients feel the same way.

My Paper Pumpkin continues to improve!

I loved this months paper pumpkin kit:

June's kit had everything you need to make 24 decorative pinwheels plus of course stamping.  It was so cute!!!  My kids and I put them together in no time and then I threw them in some vases with some marbles and it was a great display!

If you'd like to try Paper Pumpkin you can sign up through the link on the right hand side of this page- it costs $19.95 a month inclusive of shipping and each month you get an adorable kit sent to your door.  Sometimes it's a card kit and sometimes it's like the above!!  It's always timed right to the season which makes it a lot of fun!!!

PS- I've updated MY personal clearance rack- be sure to take a look at the link above marked SALE to see my deals on discontinued products! Let me know if you see anything you want today!

More Graduation Cards

I had a friend order a couple graduation cards.  I liked how they turned out although I used a couple discontinued items and colors.  I took these pics with my phone so bear with the quality.

SO.  I used a discontinued color paper called Bravo Burgandy to better match the school colors she needed.  And I also used some discontinued numbers that I made through the big shot.  BUT the stamp set is still good and I'm loving the multiple ways it can be used!
