I made this card for my sweet supportive husband-- 17 years married this month! Hard to believe, and we were together 5 years before that so yes, we've known each other for a long time. I am very blessed to have him in my life- he is fun, a wonderful husband, father...and all round great guy. Today he heads off for a much deserved break to see his new favorite thing, a NASCAR race. Didn't take too long for my Ohio man to fall for all things Southern :)
When the new catalog came out I was kinda fascinated with the From My Heart stamp set on page 139. The stamps are not necessarily all to my taste but they say such wonderful things and I've actually used a good many of them so far. It's been a good purchase!
The snowmen are from a single stamp in the Holiday catalog on page 9 called Frosty Friends. (#128117). I cut out the center of the image with a Framelit die (Apothecary Accents #127003) so I could focus on the center two snowmen. I know it's August but hey, I've been "celebrating" Christmas all month so it seemed appropriate!
The pool party background was also cut out the the Apothecary set and them ran through with an embossing folder of hearts (Adorning Accents #125601). The Midnight Muse background was run through with the stripes embossing folder for an additional texture.
