Every other month Stampin' Up Demonstrators get an amazing magazine in the mail called Stampin' Success. It is a wonderful resource that I don't use nearly enough! Last month when it came there was a great article on stamping with bleach. So I decided to use that technique for my bi-monthly stamp club.
Here are our cards:
For this first card we "inked" up the sunflower stamp with bleach and stamped directly on the crumb cake paper. My favorite part is watching it dry and the image come to life. It's like the old Polaroid pictures that would gradually show up!
For this card we first stamped with Versamark and embossed the outline of the image with black embossing powder, then we "painted" with bleach, which turned the poppies white! One other idea is that you could then go back and color in some of the painted out sections with a marker or pastel, but we kept it simple for the class!
If you would like to join my club just click on the tab at the top of the blog for more information. I have two spots open for our next meeting in May!
