Merry Christmas!!
It's been a whirlwind of a month....I've worked craft fairs and church fairs and held holiday workshops and hosted holiday card club and met with my fabulous downline for a little Christmas get-together at Panera (OMG have you TRIED their new grilled cheese/tomato soup combo? Heaven).
So many blessings. My family found a new church that we just loved for Christmas vigil last night, and I've also taken a lot of time to reflect on the terrible tragedy in Connecticut and remember those poor precious angels in my prayers every day. I can't imagine the depths of what all those families are going through.
I'm just now getting my Christmas cards out (some of them are going to be New Year's cards for sure! I have SO many people to thank and touch base with: old friends, many many new ones...family and so on!
2012 was a year of many changes as I saw my stamping business grow AND I started a second business selling Thirty-One gifts. It's been busy but I've been enjoying the ride and I am SO excited to show you all many new things in 2013~
In 2013 you can expect the following:
Blog posts at LEAST four times a week!
Free tips and tricks from the stampin' world!
Updates on the latest and greatest Stampin' Up offers and products!
Cards and cards and maybe a few other paper product posts!
Below you can see one of the cards I'm sending out to my favorite friends and SU customers, but before that let me leave you with a HUGE thank you for looking at my blog and supporting my creative endeavors!!! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!
The style of this card is CASED from Brian King, a very talented stamper that I've just discovered. His blog is www.stampwithbrian.com and I enjoy reading his work very much! I replaced his ornament with a snowflake from the Jolly Bingo Bits stamp set, changed the colors to Island Indigo and Pool Party, and added some bling (of course) but otherwise pretty much kept his format. A simple card but I think it's very striking in its simplicity! And I love the notecard size- again at 5.95 for 20 pre-cut cards and envelopes I think it's one of the very best values in the Annual Catalog.
What do you think?
Tomorrow I am going to share some of my favorite handmade cards that I have received from friends and family....
Trish
