Today I am sharing my card that really my mom wanted me to help her with- she had a printout of a card she had seen online and then I helped her re-create it for her Christmas cards this year. Then she went home and made 48 of them. You go Mom!
It's a beautiful card and I ended up using it in my club last week as well:
I'm not sure the picture does this justice-- we stamped the tree image off first in crumb cake then onto the very vanilla piece to create a light background, then stamped the words in cherry cobbler (one of my very favorite reds!)...the larger piece of cherry cobbler card stock was embossed with the new lacy brocade embossing folder. I am so glad to learn this folder is carrying over into spring so I can continue to use it. I love it!
The card base is early espressor and there is a strip of very vanilla seam binding ribbon. I love this ribbon too, so elegant!
Of course no tree would be complete without a topper, so we punched a star out of champagne glimmer paper- love it!
OK I'm off to do a thousand things-- I'm working my last craft fair of the year this Saturday at Brookwood Church. Except I sold out of almost everything I had made last weekend at the Holiday Fair! I've never sold so much before! So I've got to scramble to get things made for Saturday!!
Take care all!
Trish
