Private Card Classes are a hit

Hi Stampers,

I've been following a new format for "workshops" for several months now and I have to say they are a HIT!  Instead of the traditional "party" format where the salesperson talks a lot and tries to get everyone to buy stuff I'm offering private card parties instead.  And they are so nice.  Here's why:  I offer each hostess a choice of what card styles and formats SHE would like to have.  Then each person makes FOUR cards (with envelopes) with about a five minute talk at the beginning from me (less if everyone is already familiar with Stampin' Up!).  I give a brief overview of the cards we are making and oversee to make sure everyone learns the techniques and is happy with their cards.  The cards are four for $10 or FREE with a Stampin' Up order of $25 or more.  And that's it!  Everyone has a GREAT time, they know that they can just pay the $10 and go on their way OR buy some great product and get four free cards as a wonderful benefit.

It's been a huge success!  Call me today to book yours :)

Here is what we made in my friend June's private card class on Thursday:

This is a compartment box with Pool Party card stock and a discontinued DSP.

June wanted something slightly different for a private class in that we did two cards and a 3-D item, which is what we always do in Club.  So I was happy to make a compartment box for her that allowed for the receiver to choose the sentiment for the card and add as needed.   It uses one of my favorite go-to sentiment stamp sets- Sincere Salutations.  How I love this set- it's the first set I ever bought!!!  I will miss it so when it leaves forever on May 31st.

The class was a lot of fun and the boxes turned out great.  What do you think?
